On me

I’m 28. I work in magazine publishing as a writer and sub-editor. My husband and I share our semi-rural suburban home with a ginger cat, a Chow-cross-Alsatian-cross-Labrador pavement special, a black Labrador, approximately 750 worms and a brown house snake that lives in our roof and eats geckos. For fun, I grow vegetables (impatiently), go for long walks (if bribed with croissants at the end), swim (never in the sea), read (fiction only, ‘New Yorker’s are the exception) and cook (my expertise extend as far as making my own pesto). I believe in science and Western medicine and research, but I don’t think there’s anything that sunshine, a toasted cheese-and-tomato sandwich, or a bubble bath with a paperback can’t cure.
